Nurses have always been our everyday heroes but now more than ever we recognize how hard nurses have been working to keep their patients safe.
During National Nurses’ Week, we are giving thanks and appreciation to our nurses who continue to work hard during this uncertain time and keep us safe in hospitals across the country.
There are heroic nurses who are sharing their stories and lives on Instagram, and we rounded up some of our favorite nurse accounts.

@nurseabnormalities is an ICU nurse for Cardiac Surgery in intensive care. Through her Instagram and blog, Danielle is able to showcase how she would love to have all health care professionals and nurses work together to give their patients the best care. She also shares her tips for nursing students, gives “nurspiration”, and more. @_dianekristine is a new graduate nurse in the Progressive Care Unit. Diane is full of stories and advice, including her prevalent story of being diagnosed with coronavirus while working. Diane shares her symptoms, her emotions towards COVID-19, and everything in between. @futurenp_ is an ER nurse. Nouha shares all sorts of tips and tricks with her fellow followers such as how to use your stethoscope with your hijab. In addition to her informative nursing posts, Nouha shares her triumphs and struggles with COVID-19. @wali_khann is a Trauma Resuscitation and Trauma nurse. Through Wali’s Instagram posts, he is open to share stories and answer any questions his followers may have for him. Her posts are full of nursing as well as beauty and travel. Tiffany has also recently spoken about Nurses Week and what it means to celebrate this holiday this year. Tiffany said specifically in her post, “If you have any nurse in your life, I encourage you to love on them extra hard and show them how much you appreciate them this week.”
